Binta Diallo is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health and Pediatrics. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Pediatrics from Columbia University and completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner advanced certificate at the University at Buffalo.
Binta began her career serving in an underserved Pediatric Emergency Department, where she discovered her passion for reproductive and perinatal mental health while caring for mothers and their newborns. This experience inspired her to pursue specialized training in psychiatry. During her clinical training, she gained diverse experiences across mental health settings, including an inpatient comprehensive psychiatric emergency program, a trauma-focused clinic, and at Brooklyn Parent Support under the preceptorship of Holly White, PMHNP, and Meg Ryan, PMHNP.
She is deeply committed to supporting women through all stages of the reproductive journey—preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. Binta practices evidence-based, holistic mental health care that emphasizes collaboration, empathy, and patient-centered support. A strong advocate for health equity, she has dedicated much of her career to improving access to quality care in underserved communities.
