Colleen Hannon, FNP, PMHNP, PMH-C

Colleen Hannon is a dual certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner.

Colleen has 15 years of experience in the medical field. She expanded her professional career from the care of oncology patients to pursue what had become her passion: the care of individuals and their families in the perinatal period. Her own personal experience in this setting gives her a unique perspective and strong foundation to provide meaningful care to her clients.

She completed Perinatal Mental Health Training at Postpartum Support International as well as volunteering there as a Peer-Mentor. Her clinical training included time as a student under Rebecca Feldman at BPS. In addition, she was one of the presenters from BPS at the 2025 APNA conference.

She is passionate about providing patient and family centered care which is focused on utilizing a recovery - based model. She intends to create a safe healing environment for individuals experiencing perinatal mood disorders while empowering them to reach their personal mental health goals. She strongly believes that it is of the upmost importance to provide care that is validating, supportive, encouraging and hopeful. In the words of PSI, “with help, you will be well,” and Colleen feels privileged to be a part of your journey.

In network with Aetna, Cigna, NYCE PPO, Oscar, Oxford, United, and 1199.
