Holly is the Clinical Director at Brooklyn Parent Support, and she sees clients for medication and therapy. In addition, she co-facilitates the monthly Perinatal Medication Management Group and directs the education and training of our Student Nurse Practitioners.
Holly worked as a full scope midwife at Bellevue Hospital in New York City for 20 years prior to returning to school to become a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. As a parent and a midwife, Holly offers a deep understanding of the realities of fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and parenting. In both roles she has practiced patient centered care: care respectful and responsive to individual values, needs, strengths, beliefs and circumstances. She is warm, nonjudgmental, strengths focused and supportive.
In addition to clinical work, Holly has developed curricula and presented to WIC New York and Nurse Family Partnership on perinatal mental health issues. She has presented to ACNM NJ on Psychopharmacology in Pregnancy and Lactation and co-presented the Pregnancy and Birth Workshop for Perinatal Mental Health Clinicians with Rebecca Feldman.
