I have spent over a decade working with families through their reproductive journeys. From being at the bedside during childbirth, to guidance through the challenges of lactation, to becoming a trusted partner in the world of IVF and fertility treatments, I have been witness to thousands of beautiful, heartfelt and sometimes difficult moments.
I found that one thing that was missing in every setting: reliable, empowering support for parental mental health. I was inspired to better care for my patients mental health needs, and completed a PMHNP program to better equip myself to address this gap in care.
I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Villanova University, and my Masters of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at CUNY Hunter. I completed clinical training in a high acuity psychiatric setting at Harlem Hospital Center. I aim to take an integrative approach to psychiatric treatment, considering the full picture of an individual’s story, including biological, social, and cultural influences to optimize health and well being.
I am in network with United, Oxford, Oscar, Aetna and Cigna.
